Indaba Mania
On the 9th of May, three Realmdigital team members arrived at the 2009 Tourism Indaba held in Durban. The Indaba is a wonderful kaleidoscope of companies and brands who are involved with the tourism and travel industries at various levels.
Essentially it is a meeting point for travel related businesses from all over the world, where one is able to discuss current and upcoming trends, meet with various competitors, formulate beneficial partnerships or just walk around the ICC and gaze at some of the most extravagant stands you will ever see.
Other than stand gazing, our team had a fantastic time meeting with some brilliant companies and top brands in the travel sector, whilst following up with existing clients at the same time. These meetings were extremely beneficial as we got some great exposure on the latest Travel Platform software, which is software specifically designed for the travel industry and incorporates a range of functions such as multi-language and multi-currency tools. Through various demos and discussions we are in the process of forming some brilliant partnerships which will add another edge and service to all our clients. Our team also attended a variety of seminars which were available to all Indaba delegates, where many interesting topics were discussed about the local and international travel sectors. These talks proved to be very helpful and have allowed our team to integrate all the best practices into the Travel Platform software.
