Nikki Cockcroft is the CEO of 3 digital companies, Chair of The Bookmarks Awards and Chairwoman of the DMMA. Nikki has proved that she's not just a pretty face by being incredibly successful in the digital industry. Looking back just over a year ago to January 2010, the sale ratio was 6 e-books for every 10 physical books. A few months later in October 2010, Kindle bestsellers outsold print bestsellers two to one. Then BAM! Out of nowhere, Kindle does a hit and run to claim the title of bestseller, when it overtook the combined sales of paperbacks and hardcover books all together.

Itís been exactly a year since we launched the new exclusives.co.za website. Exclus1ves required a fully functional e-commerce site. The aim was to leverage the existing brand equity and expand the brand perception to include non-book products like CD's, DVD's, games, e-books and audio books. There was also importance placed on promoting the Fanatics loyalty program. The site grew immensely over the last year and rapidly moved into the digital edge with full support of e-books and audio-books which is constantly growing.
