Our company requires a Software Support Technician to provide telephonic/email and diagnostic support. An understanding of the Internet and content management systems is required, as well as previous help desk experience.
Respond to telephonic and email inquiries concerning support requests.
Serve as an escalation point for difficult problems and complex inquiries.
Fast and effective problem resolution.
Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
The candidate will be responsible for the ongoing functioning of the company’s internal systems and its users.
Software testing and issue tracking.
Matric qualification essential.
Either an IT Diploma, an A+, N+ or MCSE or equivalent qualification is essential.
1 - 2 years experience in a Software support environment.
Solid working experience of Windows and Office applications.
Knowledge of basic Internet web services (FTP, web hosting).
Experience within a busy desktop support environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Own transport and valid driver’s license required.
Highly organized.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail.
Proactive and self-motivated.
The ability to work both independently and within a team structure.
