Realm Platform v4.5 release09 May 2012
Realmdigital is proud to announce the release of Realm Platform version 4.5! Our developers have been hard at work analysing and updating the current version to ensure the user’s experience is just that much better and simpler. Not only have we refreshed the software but we have added some more awesome functionality to give you the best, most holistic website management tool available.
New functionality
Realm Platform 4.5 has some great new features. The new functionality ensures optimal performance and a greater ease of use that really simplifies your content management. Below is a list of all the exciting things you can find in the new version.
Auto Complete
We added this search functionality into various platform entities. Clients are now able to simply start typing either the product name or code for an item and a drop down list will narrow their results as more information is given.
Apply Next
This allows the user to submit their form details and once they have finished the can simply click “apply next” and the form will be cleared allowing them to type in a new set of data.
PDF Generator
This can be used in a number of areas in Platform. It not only turns the form into a PDF but also adds relevant details including the clients address and company name and gives you a full detailed breakdown of all the items ordered and total prices.
SafeShop Payment gateway integration
This is a secure credit card transaction for ecommerce. It allows for a safe environment in which you can purchase books online.
Point of sale integration in VSOS (Van Schaik ordering system)
This allows for automatic updates on availability and pricing which ensures that the online store reflects the brick and mortar system. Integration with VSOS also allows for purchasing online using Van Schaik gift cards and eVouchers.
Integration into MiMoney Payment gateway
This allows for online purchasing using MiMoney vouchers.
Integration into InternetExpress
Allows user to create real-time quotations for deliveries based on destination and package contents (weight, size, height – dimension).
Optimise Search Functionality
Fast, relevant retrieval of search results from a product catalogue.
