This month’s AngelHub Founders Dinner was hosted at Tjing Tjing. This unique, urban rooftop bar is located in the heart of Cape Town’s CBD. The building itself is almost 200 years old and boasts an eccentric blend of old and new. The best was I never knew this place actually existed and definitely plan on going back sometime soon. Tjing Tjing had the perfect room to host our small group for the evening and once dinner and the formalities were out the way their famous terrace bar became the perfect place for networking and mingling.
The guest speaker was Stephan Ekbergh, an e-commerce expert and the founder of TravelStart. He began his journey with TravelStart in the beginning of 1999 and decided to tell us about his venture into the travel industry and the challenges he faces. He went on to tell us about his views on life and business.
We have been really lucky in obtaining a sponsorship from Bartinney wines, who have sponsored our wine at all the events to date. Congratulations to AngelHub on yet another successful evening, I am really looking forward to seeing what the next one has in store for us.
