Brief
The client required a competition application requesting fans to submit details into a form. One of the requirements for the competition was that fans had to answer a question by choosing one out of three answers given to them. The terms and conditions for the competition needed to appear on a separate tab or pop-up. Apart from the competition, fans needed to have the option of subscribing to the Motorola e-newsletter.
There also needed to be a "share" button that created easier sharing of competition news to news feeds.
Our Solution
Users have to become fans of the Motorola page in order to enter the competition. Once users have clicked on the "like" button, they will be directed to the competition page.

Fans then submit all their details in a form and answer a competition question by choosing and ticking an answer. Once all details have been filled in, fans have to accept the terms and conditions and have the option of subscribing to the Motorola e-newsletter. The terms and conditions can be read by clicking on a link that directs fans to a new tab.

Fans can share the details about the competition with their friends by clicking on a "share" button. The winner will win a Motorola Flipout.

Strategy
Realmdigital worked on the Motorola project with Habari Media. Habari Media supplied us with all the designs, and we built this application using Facebook Platform. Habari Media were responsible for all client liaison and management.
Facebook Platform was then used to create, manage, and edit the Motorola Facebook tabs. Facebook Platform was also used to export fan entries and comments in .CSV format.
